The NOMAD

Carl, the frequently unemployed NOMAD, is again between jobs. His latest job was so stressful, he decided to leave after only a month. He was staying at the Sandia Mountain Hostel when he saw the ad for Largo Canyon School. It looked a lot more laidback than the the school for LD kids he was working at. The funny thing is that he is now at another school, but it is a school with no students! However, there are seven LD pets. Some of his projects have included making wooden coat hangers, pulling weeds, making trim for the windows and designing some of the web pages for former guests (Leah's and Ryan's). He is also making this page, but is writing in the third person.

Carl was born in Ohio, and has lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, California, Utah, and New Mexico. He went to UC Santa Barbara, which he graduated from in 1996. Since then, he has had a diverse plethora of jobs, mostly unrelated to his major (in Environmental Studies). Will someone please help him find a good job!

Carl likes music, yoga, animals, and lots of other stuff. His favorite books are by Paramahansa Yogananda, who wrote Autobiography of a Yogi, and Hazrat Inayat Khan, who was a musician turned Sufi lecturer. He was introduced to these great teachers by Naader Shagagi, his yoga instructor at Yoga Kingdom Sanctuary since January 2000. Naader has been and will be his one and only yoga instuctor. Carl plans to be a yoga instructor one day, but will wait a few years before getting certified.
